I put a high value on great relationships. Besides trying to make others feel valued and respected, I like to facilitate team events and processes that help people feel connected to each other. Those kind of relationships make the job worthwhile, especially when you win 2nd place in the chili cookoff!
Leadership and Mentoring
Every member on a team needs to be growing their personal and professional skills. From coordinating our FigJam Day to leading a Design Community of Practice, I've enjoyed spending time beyond my job requirements to help the team grow and stay current professionally. I've also invested time to train in leadership and mentoring, to add value to my team.
